The Mahad Madinah Arabic Language program is dedicated to providing high-quality Arabic language instruction as a second language to students of all cultures, ages, and levels. Our teachers are trained in a mix of traditional and modern teaching techniques to deliver engaging and interactive lessons.

The Mahad Madinah Arabic Language program is delivered in the prophetic city of Madinah, where learners are immersed in an Arabic-speaking environment where they can apply what they learned in daily practical situations around Madinah.

The Mahad Madinah Arabic Language program is based on the Islamic University's curriculum for non-Arabic speakers by the renowned Dr. V. Abdur Rahim. It is designed to help students learning Arabic as a second language achieve proficiency and fluency at a pace that is tailored to them. The correct Islamic creed based on the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger are integrated into the curriculum to ensure the correct and authentic understanding of the religion and its legislation are never breached.

Our course durations vary depending on the student’s proficiency level, learning goals, and personal circumstances. Our standard level is completed in four weeks. However, we also offer two-week courses for those who have limited time.

Included in each Arabic Language course:

• A Tajweed class to imporve Quran recital.
• Foundational lectures by local scholars on important subjects.
• A shuttle to the Prophetic Masjid for prayers.
• Weekend trips to historical sites
• A trip to Makkah to perform Umrah.

In addition, the Arabic language program includes flexible accommodation options for students during their period of stay. Mahad Madinah has partnerships with local apartments and hotels to provide comfortable and affordable housing for single students or families. We also organize weekend trips to local historical sites, allowing students to fully immerse themselves in the rich culture and history of Madinah. These trips are led by guides knowledgeable of the historical significance as well as Islamic rulings of these sites, which provide a unique opportunity for students to learn more about the city and its heritage. We provide a complete learning experience for our students, both inside and outside the classroom.
